Terms of service

The terms for using this website and joining our membership plan, plus how to raise a complaint.

Using this website

This website is run by Dental Works. The information on it is for general guidance only and isn't a substitute for an examination and advice from a dentist. Treatment outcomes vary from person to person, and photos in our gallery show individual results shared with patients' permission.

We work hard to keep the website accurate and available but can't guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and we aren't responsible for their content.

Fees and estimates

Prices in our fee guide are a guide. After your consultation we'll give you a personal written estimate before starting any course of treatment, and we'll tell you if anything changes along the way.

Membership plan terms

  • The Dental Works Membership costs £19.50 a month, paid monthly in advance by card through Stripe. Your membership starts when your first payment succeeds.
  • Your membership includes the benefits listed on our membership page at the time you join. Treatments not listed are charged at the member price shown in the fee guide, or at our standard fee where no member price is shown.
  • You can cancel at any time using the link in your welcome email or from our Manage my membership page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. We don't refund part months.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe will try again automatically and we'll email you so you can update your card. Membership benefits may be paused while payments are outstanding.
  • We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email of any change to the monthly fee or benefits. You can cancel before the change takes effect if you don't wish to continue.
  • The plan is not an insurance policy. It covers the routine care described, not specialist referrals, laboratory fees or treatment elsewhere, unless we tell you otherwise in writing.
  • When the plan is full, new applicants join a waitlist. Places are offered by email in the order people joined, and an offer is held for 7 days before passing to the next person.

Complaints

We aim to always meet your expectations. If you're not entirely happy with any part of our care or service, please tell us as soon as possible so we can put it right. Our Complaints Managers are Ruby Naseem and Andrea Cox.

If a verbal complaint isn't resolved to your satisfaction within 24 hours, or if you complain in writing, we will acknowledge it in writing within 7 working days and aim to give you a full written response as soon as possible. You can read our full patient complaints procedure (PDF).

If you're unhappy with our response about private treatment, you can contact the Dental Complaints Service within 12 months on 020 8253 0800 or at dentalcomplaints.org.uk. The Care Quality Commission (03000 616161) regulates dental services in England, and the General Dental Council (gdc-uk.org, 020 7167 6000) regulates all dental professionals.
